The 2007 Annual Meeting of China Administrative Law Society (CALS) was held on August 5th in Nanjing Dongjiao State Guesthouse hotel, which located in the beautiful Zhongshan Scenic Area, Jiangsu Province. The theme of the conference was “Protection of Property Rights and Administrative Law”. The conference lasted for two days. More than 250 experts and scholars submitted 115 essays. During the conference, the delegates conducted heated discussions with seven reports in two days, mainly about four basic topics on “Basic Theories of Protection of Property Rights and Administrative Law”, “Protection of Property Rights in Expropriation and Requisition”, “Protection of Property Rights and the Construction of Administrative Law System”, and “Administrative Remedy and the Protection of Property Rights”.
