On May 22, 2019, the Personnel Department of the Ministry of Education announced the decision of the Leading Party Group of the Ministry of Education on the appointment and removal of CUPL leadership. Prof. Ma Huaide was appointed as President and Deputy Council Chair of the Party Committee of CUPL. Prof. Huang Jin no longer served as President and Deputy Council Chair of the Party Committee of CUPL. Relevant comrades from the Personnel Department of the Ministry of Education and Beijing Municipal Education Commission attended the meeting.
