On June 11, 2023, the Seminar on the Practical Approach and Theoretical Guarantee of Legalization of Petition Affairs, sponsored by the School of Law-based Government (SLBG) of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), was successfully held at Guoerzhao Hotel in Beijing. More than 70 senior officials and experts from the Legislative Affairs Office of the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Comprehensive Governance Supervision Bureau of the Committee of Political and Legal Affairs of the CPC Central Committee, the Supreme People’s Procuratorate, the Ministry of Justice, China Law Society, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Justice, Peking University, Tsinghua University, and CUPL participated in the event both online and in person.
