On August 16, 2025, the Annual Forum (Second Edition) of the Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law Research Institute at China University of Political Science and Law, along with the academic symposium on Practical Requirements of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, was successfully convened in Beijing.

Attendees included:

Ma Huaide, President of China University of Political Science and Law, Vice President of the China Law Society, Director of its Academic Committee, and President of the Administrative Law Research Association;

Huang Haihua, Director of the Research Office of the Legislative Affairs Commission of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress;

Zhang Xiangjun, Member of the Procuratorial Committee of the Supreme People's Procuratorate and Director of the Administrative Procuratorate Department; Feng Lixia, Director of the Department of Politics and Law at the Central Party School (National Academy of Governance); Li Honglei, Joint Party Secretary of the Institute of International Law at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Vice President and Secretary-General of the Administrative Law Research Association of the China Law Society; Su Ge, Deputy Director of the Administrative Trial Division of the Supreme People's Court; Yan Guangyong, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of China Rule of Law Publishing House; Yu Fei, Vice President of China University of Political Science and Law; and Chen Baifeng, Vice President of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, attended the conference. Leading officials from central state organs including the National People's Congress, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Justice, along with over 70 experts and scholars from research institutions and renowned universities such as the Central Party School (National Academy of Governance), the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Renmin University of China, attended the conference.
