Initiated by the School of Law-based Government (SLBG) of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL)in 2021, and  co-organized by Guantao Law Firm, the Symposium on the Legal System of Diversified Dispute Resolution aims to support the high-level development of"the Rule of Law in China Initiative" and "the peaceful China Initiative" .This symposium provides theoretical support for the innovation and high-quality development of diversified dispute resolution mechanisms from the perspective of the legal profession community.

The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China emphasizes the importance of adhering to and developing the "Fengqiao Model" in the new era at the community level to resovle conflicts and disputes promptly. To study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law and to deeply understand the unique, contemporary, and practical characteristics of diversified dispute resolution in China, the SLBG of CUPL plans to hold the Fourth Symposium on the Legal System of Diversified Dispute Resolution in Beijing at the end of June 2024.
