In the evening of October 21, 2015, the 164th Expert Forum of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) and the 83rdLaw-based Government Forum were held in Graduate School of CUPL. The forum was co-sponsored by Research Office of CUPL and the School of Law-based Government (SLBG), themed “What Is Rule of Law? Does China Really Need Rule of Law?” Prof. Hu Jianmiao, Director of Law Department of Chinese Academy of Governance and Ph.D. Supervisor of Zhejiang University Guanghua Law School, gave us a wonderful speech. The forum invited Prof. Liu Shen of the Law School, CUPL and Vice Director of Administrative Law Studies Institute of China Law Society (CALS), as commentator. The forum was hosted by Prof. Wang Qingbin of SLBG.
