Since the application announcement of the Sixth China Law-Based Government Award was released on March 15 this year, many localities and departments have applied for the award actively. The Selection Committee of China Law-based Government Award had received a total of 218 applications by July 15th, an increase of 133 from 85 applications in the previous session. The applications cover 14 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, involving administrative legislation and normative documents, administrative decision-making, reform of the administrative approval system, innovation of administrative regulations, optimization of the business environment, administrative law enforcement, government affairs disclosure, dispute resolution mechanisms and other aspects of law-based government.

On December 18, 2021, the preliminary appraisal meeting of the Sixth China Law-Based Government Award was successfully held at the Xueyuanlu Campus of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL). After appraisal and discussion, the preliminary selection committee selected 35 shortlisted projects out of the 218 projects applied. For the specific list, please refer to:
