The 2008 Annual Meeting of China Administrative Law Society (CALS) was held from September 25th to 26th in Guiyang, Guizhou Province. More than 230 experts and scholars from all over the country presented 130 essays. This year’s theme was “Service-Oriented Government and Administrative Law”. Delegates carried out extensive and in-depth discussions on this theme, and the related issues were presented as follows: the basic theory of service-oriented government, service-oriented government and the construction of administrative law system and service-oriented government and administrative remedy.
