National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) sends a Letter of Thanks to Professor Ma Huaide

Recently, Xu Shaoshi, Director of NDRC, wrote to express gratitude to Prof. Ma Huaide for his participation in drafting the 13th Five-Year Plan.

In 2013, the Experts Commission of National Development Planning (ECNDP) of the 13th Five-Year Plan was established. Over 50 experts from government departments, authoritative think-tanks and universities were appointed as the members. Prof. Ma Huaide, Vice President of China University of Political Science and Law, was appointed as the only legal expert.

In the letter, Director Xu wrote that since the employment of ECNDP from May 2014, Prof. Ma Huaide has participated in the discussion and argumentation on Basic Thoughts and Draft Guidelines of the 13th Five-Year Plan. Besides, Prof. Ma attended all the Experts Commission meetings as well as many symposiums, and he put forward many important and constructive comments and made great efforts to facilitate the completion of documents in the program.
