2017 Annual Assembly of China Administrative Law Society Marks Leadership Transition

On August 26 and 27, China Administrative Law Society successfully held the 2017 annual assembly which marked its leadership transition in Wuhan, Hubei Province. The themes of the 2017 annual assembly were “China’s Supervisory System Reform and Supervisory Legislation” and “Urban Governance and Administrative Law”.
Over 400 experts and scholars from theoretical and practical circles of administrative law, including Legislative Affairs Commission of the NPC Standing Committee, Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council, the Supreme People’s Court, the Supreme People’s Procuratorate, Peking University, Tsinghua University, China University of Political Science and Law, etc., participated in this annual event. Prof. Ying Songnian of the School of Law-based Government, CUPL, was reelected as Honorable Director of ALSCLS; Prof. Ma Huaide, reelected as Director; and, Prof. Wang Jingbo, elected as Secretary-general.
