In the morning of September 20, 2018, the Second Forum on Law-Based Government Practice and Seminar on Reform of Local Law Institutions, sponsored by the Administrative Law Studies Institute of China Law Society and organized by the School of Law-based Government (SLBG), China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), was held at CUPL. Over 60 people attended the event, including legal professionals from the Legislative Affairs Commission of the National People’s Congress, Ministry of Justice, as well as legal practitioners from Beijing, Shanghai and other cities and provinces. Other participants included experts and scholars from universities and scientific research institutions, as well as journalists in and outside Beijing. The event was moderated by Prof. Ma Huaide, Vice President of CUPL and President of the Administrative Law Studies Institute of China Law Society.
