In order to further strengthen the theoretical research on automatic driving legislation and respond to the challenges of automatic driving legislation, on the afternoon of July 25, 2024, the seminar on “Automatic Driving The seminar on “Legislative Path and Practical Challenges of Autonomous Driving” was successfully held in Beijing. Experts and scholars from the Research Office of the Legislative Affairs Commission of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Peking University, Tsinghua University, China University of Political Science and Law and other departments, colleges and scientific research institutes, as well as a number of corporate professionals in the field of autonomous driving gathered together to discuss the theory and practice of autonomous driving legislation.

The keynote speech of this symposium is “the basic direction of automatic driving legislation”, followed by two units mainly focusing on “automatic driving and application scenarios specification” and “automatic driving and safety and security design”. This seminar will focus on “Automatic Driving and Application Scene Specification” and “Automatic Driving and Safety and Security Design”.
