On January 13th 2025, a seminar on Legal Relationship and Ethical Governance of Artificial Intelligence Value Chain, hosted by the Institute of Rule of Law and Government and the Research Centre for Internet and Legal Regulation of China University of Political Science and Law, and co-sponsored by Alibaba Group's Committee on Ethical Governance of Science and Technology, was successfully held in Beijing. The seminar is set to cover AI Value Chain and Legal Regulation, The Relationship between Science and Technology Ethics and Law, and The Boundary between Corporate Autonomy and Government Supervision in AI Governance, How to Explore AI Ethical Principles and Conduct AI Ethical Review in Specific Scenarios. Experts and scholars from the Science and Technology Evaluation Centre of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the China Academy of Information and Communication Research, the People's Public Security University of China and the China University of Political Science and Law, as well as industry experts from Internet companies such as Ali, Baidu and Jitterbug, engaged in lively exchanges and discussions around the themes.
