The Ying Songnian Administrative Law Scholarship was initiated by China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), with the mission of encouraging excellent postgraduates of administrative law and promoting academic development. The Board of the Scholarship consists of Prof. Ying Songnian, tenured professor of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), as Honorary Director, Prof. Ma Huaide, President of CUPL, as Director, and Prof. Dong Hao of Guangzhou University as Executive Director. The scholarship was officially launched on December 10, 2005 and has been successfully held for nine sessions. It has gained great influence among the general public and is recognized as the “Nobel Prize of Chinese Administrative Law”.
