At 7 o’clock in the evening of March 23, 2012, the 54th Law-based Government Forum was successfully held in the library of Xueyuanlu Campus. The forum enjoyed a warm and solemn atmosphere. It was honored to have Prof. Lin Feng, Director of Centre for Chinese and Comparative Law, City University of Hong Kong, at the event. As the speaker, he delivered a keynote speech with the theme of “The Current and Future Application of proportionality principle in Judicial Practice in Britain and Hong Kong”. The host of the forum was Prof. Wang Jingbo, Vice Dean of the School of Law-based Government. In addition, Wang Jing, J.D. and Lecturer from Department of Law, Chinese Academy of Governance, was invited to comment on Prof. Lin Feng’s speech.
