At 7 o’clock in the evening of May 9, 2013, the 70th Law-based Government Forum was successfully held at Academic Lecture Hall in the library of Xueyuanlu Campus in China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), with the theme of “Urban Planning and Ruling of Law under an International Scope”. This forum invited three French scholars to introduce us precious experience in urban planning, especially that of France. They were Ms. Katrine, Professor of Universite de Nime, and Researcher of National Center for Scientific Research, Ms. Anna, Professor of Architecture of Architect College of Montpellier, and Mr. Luc Dumont, Professor of Urban Planning and Architecture of Architect College of Montpellier. Mr. Zhao Yongsheng, Professor of economics in Université Paris Dauphine and Interpreter of French embassy in China, interpreted their speeches. Mr. Xing Haifeng, Director of Planning Department of Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China, was the commentator. The forum was hosted by Zhang Li, Associate Professor of the School of Law-based Government, CUPL.
