The 2014 Annual Meeting of China Administrative Law Society (CALS) was held on August 23^rd and 24^th in Zhengzhou, sponsored by CALS and organized by Zhengzhou University with the theme of “Modernization of the National Governance System and Administrative Law.” This year had received over 300 papers and more than 300 experts and scholars discussed such issues as administrative reform and the perfection of Administrative Organization Law, the efficiency of government management and a better role of the government, problems in the reform of the administrative approval system, the amendment of Administrative Litigation Law and Administrative Reconsideration Law.
