“China Law-based Government Forum 2016” Is Held Successfully in Shanghai Jiaotong University

On Jun. 25-26, 2016, sponsored by Administrative Law Studies Institute of China Law Society(ALSICLS) and Koguan Law School of Shanghai Jiaotong University (KLSSJU), “China Law-based Government forum 2016” was held in Shanghai with the theme “Regional and Urban Legal System”. The forum was the first conference of Research Network of Law-Based Government, Chinese Law Society. More than 60 famous scholars and practical experts from universities, scientific research institutions and practice agencies attended the forum. They made in-depth and detailed discussions on the topics “Regional Legislation and Justice”, “Legal System of Regional Cooperation in Foreign Countries”, “Legal System of Regional Cooperation in China", “Land Use Regulation and Legal Change”, and “The Relationship between Urban Legal System and Traffic Planning”.

The opening ceremony was hosted by Ye Bifeng, Professor of KLSSJU. Several important speeches were respectively delivered by experts: Prof. Hujin, Deputy Communist Party Secretary of Shanghai Jiaotong University, Prof. Ying Songnian, Honorary President of ALSICLSand Tenured Professor of China University of Political Science and Law, Prof. Ma Hauide, Vice President of CUPL and President of ALSICLS, Prof. Wang Xianlin, Executive Vice President of KLSSJU and Li Shichun, Director of Research Department of China Law Society. At the final stage of opening ceremony, Director Li Shichun announced that Research Network of Law-Based Government of Chinese Law Society was formally established.
