The 30th Anniversary of the Establishment of Administrative Law Studies Institute of China Law Society and the 2015 Annual Conference

On August 22, 2015, the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Administrative Law Studies Institute of China Law Society (ALSICLS) and the annual meeting 2015 were held in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. The theme of the annual meeting was “Administrative Law and Speeding up the Construction of Law-based Government”, with the four topics for discussion, namely, “Retrospect and Prospect of the Thirty-year Development of Administrative Law”, “Reform of Administrative Law Enforcement System”, “System of Governmental Power Lists” and “Major Administrative Decision-making Process”.

Over 300 people attended the conference: Mr. Wang Lequan, President of China Law Society, Luo Haocai, Honorary President of ALSICLS and Vice Chairman of the Ninth Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Ying Songnian, Honorary President of ALSICLS and Tenured Professor of CUPL, Jiang Bixin, Vice President of China Law Society and Vice President of Supreme People's Court, Wang Ning, Vice Governor and member of the Standing Committee of the Sichuan Provincial Committee, Zhang Wenxian, Vice President of China Law Society, Yang Xingping, Vice President of Sichuan Provincial People’s Consultative Conference, Wang Haiping, President of Higher People’s Court of Sichuan Province, Han Zhongxin, President of Sichuan Law Society, other Administrative Law experts and scholars, and representatives of the media from all over the country. The opening ceremony was hosted by Prof. Ma Huaide, President of ALSICLS and Vice President of CUPL.
