The 112th Forum

In the afternoon of November 14, 2018, the 112thLaw-based Government Forum was held at the Xueyuanlu campus of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL). The theme of the forum was “NIMBY and How to Make Legal Responses to It”. The Guest Speakers were Jamie P. Horsley, Senior Fellow of the Paul Tsai China Center at Yale Law School,visiting fellow in the John L. Thornton China Center in the Foreign Policy program at Brookings, Carol Ann Sicilianohe, Associate General Counsel of the Cross-Cutting Issues Law Office, within the Office of General Counsel of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and Patricia E. Salkin, the Provost of the Graduate and Professional Divisions of Touro College,Professor of Law School. The forum was moderated by Professor Liu Yi of the School of Law-based Government (SLBG). Lin Hua, Associate Professor from SLBG also attended the forum.
