(The 120th) Judicial Review of Administrative Normative Documents - from an American Perspective



In the evening of May 27, 2019, the 120th Law-based Government Forum was held at the Xueyuanlu Campus of CUPL. The Guest Speakers were Mr. John D. Bates, Chairman of the Judicial Conference of the Advisory Committee on Rules of Civil of the United States, Mr. William. A. Fletcher, Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, Mr. Jeffrey S. Lubbers, Professor of Washington Law School of American University and Special Counsel of the Administrative Conference of the United States, Ms. Jamie. P. Horsley, Senior Fellow of the Paul Tsai China Center at Yale Law School and Visiting Lecturer in Law. The theme of the forum was Judicial Review of Administrative Normative Documents-from an American Perspective. Wu Liya, Deputy Director General of the Department of Legal Affairs of the State Administration for Market Regulation, Lin Hongchao, Professor of the School of the Law-based Government, CUPL, Lin Hua, Associate Professor of the School of Law-based Government (SLBG) and other teachers and experts also attended the forum. The forum was moderated by Professor Wang Jingbo, Dean of the School of Law-based Government and Secretary-general of the Administrative Law Studies Institute of China Law Society.
