In the evening of September 29, 2011, the 46th Law-based Government Forum was successfully held at the Academic Lecture Hall in the library of Xueyuanlu Campus. The event was sponsored by the School of Law-based Government (SLBG), China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL). It was honored to have Ms. Miriam Nisbet, Director of Office of Government Information Services, NARA, and Ms. Colleen Murphy, Executive Director and General Counsel of Connecticut Information Freedom Committee as lecturers. In addition, Ms. Jamie P. Horsley, Vice Director of Yale China Law Center and senior fellow was invited to serve as the commentator. Another commentator was Prof. Wang Jingbo, Deputy Dean of SLBG and Ph. D. Supervisor of CUPL, who also hosted the forum. The theme of the forum was “Resolution in Open Government Information Disputes: Administrative Appeal, Mediation and Judicial Review——from the US Federal and State Perspectives”.
