In the evening of November 30, 2011, the 49th Law-based Government Forum sponsored by the School of Law-based Government (SLBG) was held at the Academic Lecture Hall in the library of Xueyuanlu Campus. It was honored to have Mr. Chen Sixi, Vice-Chairperson of the Committee for Internal and Judicial Affairs under the National People’s Congress to give us a lecture with the theme of “Social Transformation and the people’s congress system”. The forum was jointly hosted by Prof. Ma Huaide, Vice President of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) and Dean of SLBG, and Prof. Wang Jingbo, Vice Dean of SLBG. Prof. Jiao Hongchang, Vice President of Constitutional Law Studies Institute and Vice Dean of the Law School of CUPL, was invited to comment on the lecture.
